THE 50TH ANNUAL KIWANIS LIVE ONLINE AUCTION

INSPECTION:

There will be no inspection/preview period for items in this auction. Please review the item descriptions for details.

REMOVAL/PICK-UP:

Shipping and/or pick-up of items won shall be coordinated with the Kiwanis Club of Friendly Duluth. For those items requiring pickup, you will coordinate pickup with the confirmation representative to happen within the Duluth, MN area. Please review each item description for shipping details.

PROCEDURE:

Online Bidding Only. The auction will start to close at 6:00 PM Saturday,
April 21, 2018.

There will be no countdown clock within the online auction and items will close in sync with the live auction on TV after all bids received by phone before the item that closed for bidding have been entered. In all instances, the Auctioneer makes the final decision about when an item closes for bidding.

PAYMENT TERMS:

If you are the winning bidder of an item, you will receive a confirmation call after the item has closed (which may be as late as 2 A.M.). Be ready to provide a credit card number to pay for the item you have purchased. All payments will be processed by the Kiwanis Club of Friendly Duluth. Shipping and/or pick-up of items won shall be coordinated with the Kiwanis Club of Friendly Duluth. For those items requiring pickup, you will coordinate pickup with the confirmation team.

BIDS CANNOT BE RETRACTED ONCE PLACED.

The 50th Annual Kiwanis TV Auction is Saturday, April 21, 2018, beginning at 6 P.M. on WDIO, Channel 10/13.All items have been donated by community-service minded businesses. Proceeds are awarded through individual grants to benefit over 50 Duluth/Superior community youth programs such as Boy & Girls Clubs, Reading Is Fundamental, Duluth and Beyond (Art in Me), Minnesota Dental Foundation, Kids Closet, Lighthouse, LSS Center for Changing lives, Duluth East Robotics Club, Circle of Hope, The Duluth Playhouse Children's Theatre & Education, YMCA Girl Power and more.This auction will be a combination of both online bidding and live phone bidding!Online bidding opens approximately 10 days prior to the live TV auction and items will stay open for bidding until the item closes during the live TV auction.To monitor when items will close, tune into WDIO TV during the auction. There will be no countdown clock within the online auction and items will close in sync with the live auction on TV after all bids received by phone before the item that closed for bidding have been entered. In all instances, Kiwanis makes the final decision about when an item closes for bidding. Bidders are encouraged to use the Max-Bid feature and allow Do-Bid.com to automatically increase their bid by the next required bidding increment up to their Max Bid amount should they not be the high bidder.Bidders may also place bids by phone during the auction by calling the telephone numbers shown during the live TV event. When calling, a volunteer on the phone bank will ask for the item you wish to bid on, what you would like to bid, and your phone number. Volunteers on the phone bank do not know who the high bidder on an item is or who won a specific item when the lot closes.No Buyer's Premium and No Sales Tax on this sale! Your winning bid is the total amount you owe!
